WARRANTY
– 12 Months Replacement Guarantee

All GEHTO® products come with a full 12 month replacement guarantee from date of purchase.

If you purchased your item at a retail outlet then you must contact the place of purchase to access this warranty.

If you purchased products via our website then you should Contact us to verify if your purchase is covered by our warranty guarantee. If the warranty period under consumer law of Country of purchase is greater than 12 months then we will abide by the minimum warranty requirement period of the said Country.

Warranty  against Defects – Australia

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

GEHTO®  warrants their products against manufacture defects, breakage due to defective material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. Scratched lenses will not be covered under this warranty.
We will reimburse cost of standard return postage to all valid claims and replacement items will be posted free of charge if warranty is deemed valid. If return address differs from original address then the difference in cost if greater will be payable by you.

Damage by user or from reasons out of our control for example; if you sit on your sunglasses and they break then the guarantee may not apply. You may however be able to have your item repaired for a small fee.

Warranty Requirements

  1. Contact us with you full name, address and telephone number or email if you prefer online correspondence.
  2. Describe in detail and if possible, include pictures of defective items.
  3. Provide a copy of your purchase receipt.

Note: All items must to be returned within the warranty period when making a claim under the above guarantee.

You are our valued customer and we want to make sure you are happy with your purchase.

Returns & Exchanges – 28 Days

This policy applies to all products purchased via our online store.
If you purchased an item from a retail store then you must contact the outlet where you made the purchase and follow their procedure for returning items.
Do not send items to us that you purchased via a retail outlet or website other than GEHTO.com

Note: Returns and Warranty still apply and your retailer will be able to offer a full refund or replacement if in stock at the time.

Perhaps you purchased the wrong colour or size and you would like to return the item. You can return any GEHTO® product purchased via our website within 28 days of purchase date for a full refund or exchange equivalent to the same value.

Purchaser pays postage cost on returned items.

If you decide you would like a replacement then we will cover the postage cost to you on the agreed replacement. The purchaser will still need to pay for postage costs to return the original item to us in this instance.

All we ask is that you return the item in it’s original condition, unworn, unused with as much of the original packaging as possible including swing tags. If the item is scratched or damaged we may not be able to validate your return. If you are unsure, you can contact our customer support team. If any essential packaging is missing including cases then a surcharge of up to $20 AUD may be charged.

 

  1. Contact us for postal address and a brief description of why you are returning the goods.
  2. Include proof of purchase and date of purchase.
  3. Item must be free from damage, scratches etc and include as much of the original packaging as possible.
  4. State if you would like a full refund or replacement item of same value.
